NanoRAM is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Doctoral Network (DN), incorporating 19 organisations across 12 countries. The interdisciplinary network combines physics, chemistry, biology and engineering to train a new generation of scientists in the development and application of newly developed manipulation and characterisation nanotools in soft matter research. Doctoral candidates in NanoRAM will work on multi-disciplinary projects and be engaged in a comprehensive network-wide training programme. Candidates will also benefit from secondments to academic and industrial partners, which will emphasise an innovative, creative and entrepreneurial mind-set. NanoRAM offers an attractive salary including a mobility allowance, and a family allowance (applicable).
Applicants must comply with the Doctoral Network eligibility criteria:
i) Must be a doctoral candidate, i.e. not already in possession of a doctoral degree at the date of the recruitment.
ii) Mobility rule: The candidate can be of any nationality but must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
