THE SELHUBER-UNKEL GROUP

We are an interdisciplinary group working at the interface of materials science and life science. Our academic backgrounds range from biotechnology and chemistry to materials science and medical engineering. Furthermore, nearly every project combines disciplines to approach longstanding scientific problems with novel and innovative perspectives. In addition, together we represent over 10 countries spanning the globe!

New Publication!!

New publication in partnership with the research group of Prof. Dr. Jasmin Aghassi-Hagmann at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology(KIT). Prof. Aghassi-Hagmann is also a member of the Cluster of Excelence 3DMM2O.

The paper titled "Direct Writing of Liquid Metal Microheaters for Microvalve Applications" can found here. It talks about direct writing of liquid metal (LM) based microheaters for microvalve applications based on thermo-responsive polymers.
