Within an interdisciplinary research network into synthetic immunology, we are looking for a


PhD Student (f/m/d) in Philosophy

The position: 

  • Doctoral research into the ethical and social challenges of synthetic immunology
  • Conducting internationally visible research in philosophy
  • Bridging philosophical ethics and synthetic immunology

Your profile:

  • The successful candidate has an MA or BA degree in philosophy or a related field
  • They specialise in ethics, including applied ethics or moral psychology
  • The successful candidate has interdisciplinary experience in and is keen to collaborate with scientists, especially in medical technology, synthetic biology, molecular systems engineering, or similar fields
