IMSEAM, 22.05.2025 3DMM2O and SynthImmune Clusters of Excellence successful

Heidelberg University has been successful with three applications in the Cluster of Excellence funding line, including the clusters 3DMM2O and SynthImmune, in which IMSEAM PIs are involved.

Under the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments, Heidelberg University has secured funding for three Clusters of Excellence—3DMM2O, SynthImmune, and GreenRobust. This achievement not only supports groundbreaking interdisciplinary research but also qualifies the university to apply for additional funding as a University of Excellence. Two of the funded clusters, 3DMM2O and SynthImmune, are closely aligned with research at IMSEAM, with all of our PIs affiliated with one of these initiatives.

We are excited about this outcome and look forward to the innovative research that will be carried out by the 3DMM2O and SynthImmune clusters of excellence.
