Post-doc position
The group is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher with a strong interest in polymer chemistry as well as 3D printing. The aim of the project is the development of new sustainable materials exhibiting adaptive multi-responsive features that can be applied in biomedical applications.
The post-doctoral researcher will work in an interdisciplinary and international environment with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities at the Institute for Molecular Systems Engineering and Advanced Materials (IMSEAM) at Heidelberg University. The researcher will also be integrated into the Cluster of Excellence 3D Matter Made to Order (3DMM2O).
A scientific staff position (f/m/d) with a remuneration of 100% E13 is offered. Funding for the position is secured for one year, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Chemistry, Material Science or a related field
- Experience in 3D printing and biomaterials is advantageous
- Experience in material characterization (e.g. electron microscopy)
- Good level of English (oral and written) is essential
