For a wireless connection (Wi-Fi) please use eduroam. A guide on how to use it is provided by the university computing centre.

For a wired connection (LAN) please write an E-Mail to the IMSEAM-IT with the following information

• MAC-Address (format aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff)
• Type of computer (laptop, desktop, printer, measuring device)
• private device (yes / no)
• responsible person
• group

The devices have to be set to get the network setting via DHCP.

Security note: The usage of devices within the institute LAN has to be in accordance with the rules of the university computing centre. Always keep the devices operating system up to date.
