- Maike Albertzart (Philosophy, Mainz)
Maike Albertzart is a Professor of Practical Philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where she also serves as Deputy Head of the Philosophy Department. Her research spans moral and political philosophy, especially Kantian moral philosophy and collective responsibility; action theory, focusing on collective intentionality and group agency; and metaethics, particularly moral particularism. She is the author of Moral Principles (2014, Bloomsbury Academic), which contributes to the debate between particularism and generalism. One of her prominent articles, “A Kantian Solution to the Problem of Imperceptible Differences” (2019), addresses collective moral responsibility in cases where individual action alone seems negligible.
